Captain Able

A game made to raise awareness for the challenges people with phyiscal disabilities have to overcome, this game follows a super hero by the name of Captain Abel who sets out on a mssion to rescue his pet turtle Terry. The game went through many different iterations, before settling on PC that my team and I are very proud of. For this game I made the sound effects, the ambiance and edited the voice lines that play during the dialogue. 

The game is made with children between the ages of 7 to 12 in mind. Through playing this game, we wanted them to learn what kind of struggles people with a physical disability face on a daily basis that abled people normally don't think about. Through the audio, I tried to create a semi-serious atmosphere. The voice acting is slightly over the top to give the vibe of a cartoon, while still getting the point across.
